Displaced Stent

It seems that my problems have been caused by a displaced stent.

The errant one has been removed and it has been replaced by a new one.

Eating seems easier the next few days will tell for sure.

It is a bit of a relief!

I am still very weak and recovering.

I will be out of hospital tomorrow.

  2. Ah Rumps, I'm so glad. I've kept thinking about you today and trying to send positive vibes (if that isn't too mad and hippy-ish.)Once you start to be able to take in some more nourishment and feel less weak I'm sure everything will feel better.

I wanted to tell you - which I'm sure you know - how many people's lives you've touched who don't even know you. Whenever I trade ANR or LWEA I think of you and remember our conversations. You taught me to look at the Asian markets overnight, and when I do every morning I send a little 'thank you' your way...

There, that's enough sentimentality for one day! But I just wanted you to know how much we miss your sanity - and bolshiness ;)- on the Barc board.

Rest well, and trust your body to do a little healing after what it's been through today.

  12. Excellent news Rumps.

I'm so pleased for you and Kitten, and hope you get your strength back soon. Back in your own bed no less.

My portfolio took a bit of a hit today and as you probably know the Lilywhites didn't fare to well either, so I've not been in the best of moods this p.m.

You've just put the smile back on my face though - your "altruistic" reasons working their magic again!

    All the best,

  13. Brilliant, brilliant news :)

I was putting off reading your blog, fearing the worst. The sense of relief I feel now is a testament to how you have touched the lives of people you have never even met.

    My Best Regards

  14. Hi Rumps

Good to hear, stents can also "clog" actually but no matter the reason I am very glad that improvement has been effected!

  15. Glad to hear that your recent problems were 'mechanical' and that you should get some positive outcome from the stent replacement. It was good to spend some time with you and the fsmily over the weekend. I hope you can now get some calories and pick up strength. Also hope Boogle's tonsils have settled down and next time we are up we can take Huffty and her out for a lunch. Take care, and love to you all.
