I dosed up with oral morphine last night and its sedative effect has helped slow the whole system down.
I am taking it easy today, but we are likely to go to Notoplip and Sushi's this afternoon.
It will be nice to get out of the house and I know that I will be accommodated as needs must.
All in all a better day today, but nothing that I am taking for granted.
Thinking of you matey, take it easy....

Cheers, Mick.
ReplyDeleteNot feeling bad but a bit dosed up with the morphine to slow me down.
I do need to get the anaemia sorted though!
Hope that you had a great Christmas Mick
**** Mick, I have amended your comment to keep my name confidential - hope you don't mind. Cheers - Rumps ******
ReplyDeleteWe had a great Christmas, thanks for asking. I do hope things improve quickly for you.
Maybe, due to your condition, an intravenous iron infusion may help with the anaemia, if you could get one that is. I don't know a great deal about your specific condition and apologise if I am overstepping the mark.
On a brighter note I have decided to do the Cheshire Cat Bike run for Cancer. A 100 mile ride with 3 or so monster climbs, that should help get rid of the xmas excess ;-)
Sunday 27 March 2011 is the date - damn, just 3 month to get this fat useless lump of lard into shape. At the moment I am 16 stone of blubber, even though the Triathlon I did early Sept got me down to 14.5.
Here's to you regaining some control over this son of a bitch and hopefully, me getting in some kind of shape for this next challenge.
Best wishes,
Mick
Mugger,
ReplyDeletegood luck with the bike run. I'm sure that will burn a few calories!!!
Apologies Rumps, I never give it a thought.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling a little better.
Mick
Absolutely no worries Mick.
ReplyDeleteThe original idea was to keep the blog anonymous and that has straying a little, but I am sure that you appreciate there is a lot of information here about me. In the right hands no problem. In the wrong hands???
