I do feel a little boosted after the transfusion though it is early days yet.
As Kitten says it was a bit of a nightmare waiting at the hospital yesterday but we got through it.
Hopefully I willl feel boosted enough to have the energy to watch the rugby tonight.
Kitten's parents have gone home today (having been here since Tuesday). They were here to cover for our proposed journey to the healer in Suffolk, which was regrettably cancelled. Many thanks to them for their help.
Good to hear you feel a little stronger.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rugby to night.
Remembering you all in my prayers.
God Bless

Swordfish,
ReplyDeleteThere's been a lot of discussion about healers and reading between the lines of your recent postings you seemed to have invested a lot of emotion in the outcome of a visit and now you are more than a little despaired by the need to cancel.
I have no direct experience of healers but I am prepared to believe, if not in miracles, in their ability to provide hope, peace and respite. In their absence though perhaps it is possible to help yourself through your own beliefs. Reading your posts and the accounts of your good days and bad days it always appears to me that the bad days follow periods of exertion and when you fall back you are doubly frustrated because you're not able to do what you did the previous day. As you say, you have no energy, not even enough to play with your kids or interact in even simple ways. Is it possible to focus on what you can do though and take some positivity from that? For instance, can you just sit with the children and let them just be with you, read to you, watch TV with you. All those simple things can mean so much even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. Hopefully it will allow you the time to recoup your energy and take away the frustration that you feel.
I'm not attempting to preach to you and have no idea how you must feel but I do know that if you can find faith in your ability to just 'be' it can be very healing.
After last night, perhaps it's best though not to watch the rugby....
Hope you continue to gather strength and thank you and Kitten for using some of that precious energy to keep us in the loop.
