This is the story about my journey into and, hopefully, through cancer of the oesophagus.
There are number of reasons for me wishing to share my experience; some of which are selfish, some of which I would like to think are altruistic.
The blog is intended to be a frank account and, whilst I hope it is accessible and useful beyond my immediate circle of family and friends, it will be written in a style that is suitable for open-minded adults.

Still in good form
I can still rock with them down at the theme park. Must be watched WITH sound.
Arghhh!! Make it stop!!.. I sat outside that ride for half an hour today waiting for the others to come out. That 'music' is engraved in my brain. (Sushi looks impressed by your antics!). Very funny.
I know Sushi very well and impressed or not, we know NEVER to laugh, acknowledge or comment on Swordfish or Toplips' antics as it would encourage them far too much!
We tolerate their giddiness to the best of our abilities.
Secretly, we may laugh a little (very little, very, very little) but of course we can never let on!
May I take a moment to thank everyone for the lovely cards, flowers and gifts I received for my 36th - er, ish - birthday yesterday. I will enjoy them all very much x
Mad as a hatter doesn't come close...! Glad to see you've had fun on your day out - hope the other children enjoyed it as much! Off to feed the hobbits...
